Enjoying America!

We have been enjoying our time in America.  We can't wait for Jeff to join us this next weekend!  Here are some of the highlights so far.....

 We started our trip in Texas visiting our good friends Holly and Shane in Dallas.

 While in Texas we saw some AMAZING sunflower fields!

 All of the children played really well together!

Holly is one of those special friends that I share life who encourages and builds me up.  I hope I can do the same for her!

Next, we moved on to Austin where my sister just moved from Canada.

Retreat

Jeff and I took some Chinese friends out of Beijing for the weekend to Shidu about 2 1/2 hours away. 

We rented a bus to haul everybody.  Our first bus broke down on the highway, but as we waited at a gas station, we played Frisbee and soccer.

We ended the weekend with grilling chuar (lamb kabobs), steak and chicken kabobs with veggies.  

I was having so much fun, I forgot to take pictures.  These are the few that I took of the weekend.  We had some great conversations with our friends and came back a closer group of people!
