Visit from Gong Gong and Po Po

We had a great almost 2 weeks with Nana and Gaga visiting.  In case you don't know, that is what the kids call Jeff's parents.  Now, I also know what I am to call them in Chinese, from the daughter-in-law's perspective.  "Gong Gong and Po Po".  They came to visit during the Chinese National Day week long holiday.  A lot of Beijingers left Beijing, the children were out of school, and all of the tourist places were CROWDED!!  What a blessing to have a husband who is a planner, because we planned to go to the tourist places on great days and we also went very early in the morning to beat the crowds.  It worked really well.

We took Nana and Gaga to all of the typical "must see" destinations, but we also went a couple of new places.  Here are some of my favorite pics from their visit.  They were wonderful travelers, adventurers, troopers, and guests!!  Jack has already cried last night because he already misses them.

Definitely the best weather we've had at the Great Wall
and some of the best weather all week since we've lived here!

The favorite Chinese meal of the visit:  Beijing noodles
