Adoption

Spring is full of new beginnings....

Say "Hello" to....

.....Flowers....

....to Lilipads....

......to another child.

 

.....Yes....

We are currently finishing up our paperwork to be submitted for Chinese adoption.  We have completed our home studies and are working on our dossier to be submitted at the end of May. 

Our journey toward adoption started a couple of years ago when Jeff and I had the opportunity to go on mission trips to Ethiopia.  There, we were able to care for some orphans which planted the first seed in our hearts.  After that, we discussed the possibility, but shelved the idea for the future.  After several of our friends have adopted, we have been able to witness what a great experience it has been for their families and Jack and Grace have seen it as a wonderful, almost natural process for our family.  We believe that we can offer a loving home and family to a child who needs one.

Spring is full of new beginnings and hopefully by next Spring we will have a new addition to our family.
